Lessons

We strive to provide a stress free and engaging lesson program that offers hands on instruction, and constant clear communication.

Beginner lessons are always private lessons to aid in learning and one on one time with the instructor.

Once the student is able to groom and tack up on their own, mount and adjust their stirrups, group lessons become a wonderful option! Group riding allows for a bit of socialization as well as being able to learn from watching others and comparing notes at the end of class.

Lessons are scheduled in 5 week sessions. The same time and day each week for 5 weeks, with a makeup week at the end. Each session will include one unmounted lesson to focus on horsemanship, groundwork and horse management; all of which are extremely important to creating a well rounded horseman.

Our lesson program has been designed for riders of all ages and ability levels. Students will learn how to care for their horses, as well as how to ride through correct equitation. Clear communication, with respect for each horse’s individual needs and ability, is the staple of our lesson program. If you are a new student, please also fill out the lesson registration packet and bring it with you to your first lesson.
