Maple Row Stables is the dream come true for me, a long time horse lover, rider, instructor and trainer.

I began riding at 8 years old, in a YMCA camp program. Since that summer, I have spent my free time at the barn. Having the opportunity to ride, work and teach others as a counselor for the better part of my childhood and teen years, I developed skills in communication, teaching and horsemanship early on. For nine years, I studied the Equitation, Dressage and Hunter/Jumper disciplines.
After graduating from UMASS’s Stockbridge School of Agriculture, I spent some time in Aiken, South Carolina, working for an eventer. This is where I fell in love with Eventing. The heat proving too much for me, a New England girl through and through, I moved back to Massachusetts where I worked for a quickly growing lesson barn. That is where I realized my love of teaching and managing horses. It is amazing to see a student have that “Ah-Ha!” moment, and watch them progress as wonderful horsemen and women.

In 2009 I moved to New Hampshire and found a wonderful barn, focused on Eventing, with a great trainer who gave me an invaluable education in horsemanship, eventing and training. Making lasting friendships and connections, I have pursued eventing and competing when possible while working a “real” job in order to support my passion.
Throughout the years, I have been fascinated with different methods and theories of training and riding. Always looking for more information, I have taken lessons and attended clinics with those who I admire and respect as horsemen.

Finally able to begin my own business, I am currently training and teaching at my own facility and also traveling to client farms and barns. The adventure is only just beginning. I can’t wait to build and develop lasting relationships with both student and horse, and am even more excited to help horse owners and lovers develop those relationships as well!
I want my farm to be a family, dedicated to the horse, their well-being, and the connection between horse and rider.
“If you are only a student of technique, then the options become very limited. On the other hand, when you are a student of the horse, the options are unlimited.”
